Punk pioneers The Dicks played their first gig at the Armadillo World Headquarters in May of 1980. Prizer Arts & Letters will exhibit a selection of Gary Floyd's art, curated by artist and filmmaker Bill Daniel. Arts+Labor will share How We Found Our Sound: THE DICKS, and a panel discussion will follow to discuss Gary, his art, the band's place in Austin culture, and the groundbreaking inclusion that took place at the Armadillo World HQ. With live sets by Jefferson Trout, Pocket FishRmen, and others.
